SEPTEMBER
Three and Oh My Freaking God!!!  I suggested that I would be loving life if the Panthers could win 5 games this season.  Well, three games into the season and they are over halfway to my prediction!  I can't believe it but watching this team you can see that they have enough talent to do some remarkable things this year.  With the Salary Cap in the NFL teams have to make tradeoffs, hire a high priced guy at the expense of the rest of the team or spread your money around and get decent but not spectacular guys across the whole squad.  It looks like the Panthers have done the latter and the results are paying off.  Well, that and bringing a 36 year old QB out of the celler.  Whatever it is they have brought excitement back to Carolina and I'm there!  So, bring it on gentlemen!  It's time for Football, baby!  Football!!!

AUGUST
The season is steadily approaching and I can't wait.  From the end of the Superbowl until training camp in August I keep wishing for football.  Unfortunately my 2 years of not missing a game is going to come to an end this year.  I'm off on vacation in Europe and I'm going to miss the first two home games.  Now as psyched as I am about a European vacation a'la Chevy Chase, I'm going to be sick to my stomach missing those first 2 weeks of ball.  The one thing I am certain of is that my fellow tailgaters will carry on and make me proud.  So, bring it on gentlemen!  It's time for Football, baby!  Football!!!
